Competitive base salary Medical insurance Dental insurance Paid vacation Paid sick time 401(k) retirement plan Hybrid work model with in-office flexibility Additional firm-sponsored benefits and wellness programs Job Details We are hiring a mid level Commercial Real Estate and Development Associate to support a sophisticated real estate practice serving developers and institutional clients in Boston or Hartford, Connecticut. **Responsibilities** * Represent developers and borrowers in complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, public and private financing, and development matters. * Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, loan documents, development agreements, and related transactional documents. * Perform title and survey review, due diligence coordination, and issue resolution through closing. * Support zoning, land use, and entitlement matters tied to development projects. * Collaborate directly with partners and clients on high value transactions involving local and national developers. * Contribute to affordable housing development matters and related regulatory work. **Qualifications** * JD with active and good standing bar admission or eligibility to waive in. * Four to six years of commercial real estate transactional experience representing developers and borrowers. * Strong fundamentals in title review, survey analysis, acquisition documentation, and loan document review. * Experience handling complex financings and development transactions. * Excellent drafting, negotiation, research, and client communication skills. * Genuine interest in affordable housing development and long term practice growth.
