Job descriptionCPA designation required. Minimum of 10 years' experience in accounting and taxation, with a deep emphasis on financial reporting and compliance. At least 3 years of experience in public accounting. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Demonstrable experience leading and developing finance teams. Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation. Experience in real estate or similar sector highly desirable. Strong background managing REIT compliance and accounting systems. Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills. Proven track record in financial strategy and tax planning. Expertise in GAAP and general financial principles. Advanced knowledge and practical handling of tax matters and compliance issues. Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Strong communication skills, capable of articulating financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders. Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Financial Controller - Real Estate Investment Trust

In this crucial role, you will oversee all accounting and tax operations, ensuring compliance and effectiveness across our diverse portfolios. Salary : $180,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Direct financial reporting and ensure compliance across multiple legal frameworks and entities.
- Spearhead comprehensive tax strategies and manage associated risks.
- Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing finance team.
- Analyze and approve financial aspects of acquisitions and dispositions, ensuring alignment with overall company strategy and compliance requirements.
- Serve as a key financial advisor to executive management, providing insights and recommendations that influence company decisions and investor relations.
