Overview of Responsibilities :
- Maintain open line of communication with kitchen
- Refer to email for the nightly End Of Night Report for communications from Closing Manager to all BOH managers. Check with the Events’ Team for information on rentals needed for upcoming events. Stay well informed about all the shipments / packages for events & service, where they’ll need to be been placed, and how / when they’ll need to be pulled out for the event. Be sure to articulate storage of packages to the event’s owner.
- Take receipt of all deliveries at loading dock :
- Compare existing Purchase Orders (supplied by Executive / Sous Chef), with each
delivery invoice to carefully identify and cross check the actual product delivered with the products listed on the invoice.
Return / Separate any damaged items – do NOT put items into active inventory.
