Ultimate Staffing is hiring for a Receptionist to join a fantastic company! We are looking for an outgoing and professional Receptionist to start ASAP. Training will be in Fremont for 1-2 months, but once completed the role will sit in South San Jose, CA. APPLY NOW!!

Hours : Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Contract-to-Hire

Pay Range : $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Position Summary
The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing outstanding customer service and administrative support. This role is responsible for managing front desk operations, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment, enforcing visitor and employee identification procedures, and handling a variety of office support tasks. Additional administrative responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet visitors professionally and direct them appropriately.
- Answer and route incoming telephone calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Enforce security procedures, including visitor sign-in, issuing badges, and monitoring logbooks.
- Notify staff of guest arrivals and ensure smooth visitor flow.
- Respond to visitor inquiries or direct them to the appropriate resource.
- Maintain and update employee and department directories.
- Utilize Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) for daily administrative tasks.
- Set up meeting and conference rooms as needed.
- Perform light cleaning duties occasionally, maintaining tidiness of shared areas.
- Assist with filing, archiving, and purging documents as required.
- Operate standard office equipment, such as copiers, fax machines, and printers.
- Support general administrative duties as assigned by management.
