GENERAL OVERVIEW
SOHO Juice Co. is an innovative quick-service cafe serving wholesome plant-based quick-service superfoods for a happy lifestyle. SUMMARY
The General Manager plans and directs the store's day-to-day operations. Develops strategies to improve guest service, drive store sales, and increase profitability. Enforces, conveys, and upholds SOHO Juice ’s policies, goals, and standards that will increase sales and grow the existing guest base. The General Manager consistently communicates with the Senior Store Manager and Operations Manager. Represents SOHO Juice in appearance, attitude, and professionalism portrayed to employees, guests, and the community. Maintains high store standards and conditions and fosters a positive environment. Ensure guest needs are met, complaints are resolved, and service is quick and efficient.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
- Overseeing store operations and maintaining the highest standards in quality, service, and cleanliness with a constant focus on profitability
- Growing sales and optimizing labor and food costs to maximize operating margin
- Interviewing and hiring adequate staff to operate the cafe based on company and brand standards and in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Scheduling sufficient staff to cover operations and to accommodate customer flow
- Training and developing staff
- Evaluating performance at company-designated intervals and designing a development plan with each staff member to improve performance
- Providing coaching, counseling, and discipline, as warranted
- Handling HR issues as they arise, including disciplinary write-ups
- Maintaining an adequate supply of products and items necessary to maintain smooth operations
- Conducting weekly and month-end inventories
- Controlling payroll to meet company labor cost standards
- Controlling inventory
- Maintaining building and equipment via proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance procedures
- Always maintaining a professional appearance and demeanor
- Ensuring that all sanitation, safety, security policies and procedures are observed and enforced
- Performing other tasks as directed
