Job description

Job Summary : Responsibilities :

We’re seeking a Recreation and Sports Manager to join our team. As our new Recreation and Sports Manager you will :

Be responsible for the daily operation and management of the Sports & Recreation department across the entire client account.

Run all leagues and events as well as managing usage of the on-campus sports facilities.

Report to the Senior Operations Manager and work to ensure successful and sustainable operations while maintaining alignment with growth strategies across the account.

Facilitate daily operations of the sports & recreation programs

Schedule leagues and maintain roster signups and databases

Create field schedules and organize facility usage

Maintain weekly organized games and events

Manage inventory of all sport facilities and equipment

Positive daily interaction with users to provide consistent high quality experience

Align with client and account goals to increase user satisfaction and ensure program success

Perform other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate will have :

A Bachelor’s degree

A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in Sports Management, Operations, Intramural Activities, Customer Service or related role.

Current CPR / AED / First Aid Certifications

Preferred Qualifications :

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or the equivalent

A passion for sports and building community

Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills

The ability to work independently, or as a team, and proactively with minimum supervision

Proven ability to build relationships

Ambition, diligence, and passion for improving the lives of others
