What You'll Do

The City and County of Denver's Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) is dedicated to customer service and enhancing the health of residents and the environment through innovative programs and safe, beautiful, and sustainable places. Through the operation of 30 recreation centers across Denver, DPR can offer affordable facilities, programs, and activities to residents and visitors year-round. Recreation centers offer several organized classes including, but not limited to, aquatics, arts and crafts, cultural and social activities, fitness and sports, health, special events, tours, and more. Activities are organized for children, youth, adults, people with disabilities, and active older adults for maximum enjoyment by all of Denver's diverse communities.
