Position Summary : The primary responsibility of this position is to provide exceptional customer service while performing all assigned duties, essential and non-essential. Key job functions include but are not limited to : Enter all referral types into MatrixCare and SalesForce, assign referrals to Patient Access Scheduling Coordinators, complete Medicaid insurance verification and enter into MatrixCare for referrals entered. A successful Patient Access Referral Coordinator provides exceptional external and internal customer service. In addition to high individual performance, a Patient Access Referral Coordinator is expected to support peers, lead best practices, process improvement and continuous enhancements of all Patient Access functions. Ongoing collaboration among team members and with the Manager / Area Director of Business Operations is required to ensure optimal operating effectiveness.
