  • Santa Rosa, California  Job Type : Full-time Schedule : Tuesday through Friday, 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 00 PM Compensation : $27.00 – $30.00 per hour, based on experience Expected Hours : 30 – 40 hours per week Overview We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our high-performing dental team.
  • This role is ideal for someone passionate about patient care and eager to contribute to the efficiency and success of our practice.
  • You will support clinical operations and ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Key Responsibilities Assist the dentist during a variety of clinical procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Prepare, sterilize, and maintain dental instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
  • Capture and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using Dentrix or comparable software.
  • Assist with laboratory tasks including impressions and support for prosthodontic procedures.
  • Monitor and document patients' vital signs prior to procedures.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
  • Support front office duties, including answering phone calls and managing patient inquiries as needed.
  • Qualifications Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and clinical procedures.
  • Proficiency with Dentrix or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental medical coding is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control.
  • Prior experience in a dental clinic setting is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster patient trust and team collaboration.
