We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in providing excellent health care to our pediatric patients! Your responsibilities as a healthcare patient advocate include tasks like creating and maintaining accurate patient records, administering medication and monitoring for side effects, recording vital signs, and reporting symptoms and changes in patient conditions.
Responsibilities :
Maintaining accurate, complete health care records and reports.
Recording patient vital signs and medical information.
Ordering medical diagnostic and clinical tests.
Monitoring, reporting, and recording symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
Assessing, implementing, planning, or evaluating patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
Modifying patient health treatment plans as indicated by patient conditions and responses.
Administering medications to patients and monitoring them for side effects and reactions.
Administering non-intravenous medications.
Prescribing assistive medical devices and related treatments.
Interacts with family, patient, and other disciplines to develop and coordinate a safe and acceptable discharge plan.
Functions as an indirect caregiver, and patient advocate and manages patients in the most costeffective way without compromising quality.
Complies with other duties as described.
Basic Qualifications :
Two (2) years of clinical experience as an RN in your primary specialty is required.
Completion of an accredited RN training program that allows graduates to take and pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN).
Current California RN license is required.
Current CPR certification is required.
BLS and ACLS certification are required.
Basic computer literacy skills.
Professional, friendly attitude.
Ability to utilize written and verbal communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and problem solving skills with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.
Ability in planning, organizing, and conflict resolution skills.
