Job descriptionManage the routing, public involvement, CCN application preparation, stakeholder notice, and
contested case process for new electric transmission line projects at the PUC.
- Provide expert testimony in transmission line CCN contested case proceedings.
- Manage other PUC compliance related projects, reporting and rulemaking activities.
- In conjunction with management and internal / external attorneys, develops LCRA advocacy and strategy positions for transmission projects.
- Develop, manage, and implement strategic plans for communicating and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders relative to proposed new transmission line projects.
- Twelve or more years of experience working with utility regulatory processes in fields such as regulatory affairs, finance, information technology / security, project management or law or other relevant experience.
- A degree(s) in business, economics, science, finance, accounting, public policy, law, mathematics or relevant field may be substituted per LCRA guidelines for certain years of experience.
- Driver's license
- Experience managing the routing, certification (CCN) and public involvement processes for new high voltage transmission line projects in Texas.
- Experience providing written and verbal testimony in contested case hearings involving proposed new electric transmission line projects in Texas.
- Experiencing working with a variety of stakeholders to develop proposed transmission line routing and substation alternatives that adhere to PUC rules and siting criteria outlined in the Public Utility Regulatory Act.
