Accounting Consultant - Revenue & Regulatory Accounting
The Accountant Consultant for the Revenue & Regulatory Accounting Team is primarily responsible for managing the accounting, reporting and regulatory compliance related to revenue and regulatory matters. This role will primarily support ACC and FERC regulatory matters including ACC Retail Rate Cases, ACC Ratemaking Policies and Formula Rates, as well as other regulatory adjustor mechanisms, revenue recognition, jurisdictional financials and compliance filing matters. The candidate selected for this role will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge and expertise in the ever-changing regulatory environment, including regulation (ACC and FERC), rate cases, formula rates, adjustor mechanisms, testimony preparation, and much more. This role will serve as an F&A liaison across the organization and partner with stakeholders throughout the company in scenario analysis, strategy, decision-making, alignment and communication in a wide range of regulatory matters. There is also opportunity to network with regulatory experts and professionals outside the organization.

- Understanding of regulatory frameworks, such as FERC (Federal Energy Regulatory Commission) rules for utilities.
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations.
