Summary : Provides support and assistance to the rehabilitation professional staff in both inpatient and outpatient care. Provides support and assistance to inpatients for orthopedic functions and therapeutic activities to support optimal patient care outcomes.
This position is a hands-on patient care and support role in the outpatient rehabilitation clinic at Broward Health Imperial Point. This job entails preparing the clinic for operations : cleaning, stocking, checking supplies, presetting treatment areas. Most of the day is spent in the gym, assisting both wellness members and physical therapy patients with exercises, progressions, monitoring the patients for safety etc. It involves excellent customer service skills, people skills and communication / collaboration with the physical therapist staff, and lots of multi-tasking. It is a direct, active, patient care role.
Shifts : All weekdays varied between Open 7 : 00am and close between 6 : 00-7 : 00pm.
