Job Description

Schedule : Full time (40 hours / week), Monday to Friday 7 : 30am-4pm

The Rehabilitation Aide plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of the rehab area. The ideal person for this role will assist PTs, OTs, SLPs, and our DOR in providing the best quality care for our patients.

Duties of the rehab aide include :

• Performs clerical tasks like answering phone calls, faxing, photocopying, and maintaining patient records, coordinating DME orders and delivery
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of treatment areas prior to and after treatment sessions
• Cleans, inspects, and maintains equipment
• Maintains equipment and supplies inventory log
• Helps set up and assist patients in performing exercises or in using gym equipment under therapist supervision
• Performs other tasks as assigned

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby / on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Providence Home and Community Care (HCC) is a service line within Providence with over 8,000 caregivers and 2,000 volunteers serving nearly 200,000 people a year, in their homes, in clinics and in a variety of congregate living ministries across our seven-state footprint.
