Advise on fraud and abuse compliance, including structuring transactions to align with Stark, Anti-Kickback, and False Claims Act regulations . Assist healthcare providers in navigating enrollment, claims submissions, and billing compliance. Provide strategic guidance on business relationships and transactions involving healthcare entities . Our client, a highly regarded national law firm, is seeking a highly qualified and motivated Attorney to join their Healthcare Practice Group . This role focuses on advising healthcare clients on billing and reimbursement compliance, regulatory matters, and fraud and abuse laws.
Candidate Profile :
- JD from a top-tier law school with a strong academic record.
- Active bar admission in the applicable state .
- 10+ years of experience advising clients or engaging in policymaking relate d to healthcare billing and reimbursement, including Medicare, Medicaid, and VA / Tricare .
- Deep knowledge of federal fraud and abuse laws , including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, and False Claims Act .
- Experience guiding healthcare entities such as hospitals, physician groups, academic medical centers (AMCs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and home health agencies on regulatory compliance.
- Strong background in structuring business relationships to ensure compliance with applicable laws.
- Experience working with private payors is a plus.
