THE POSITION

The Delaware Valley Veterans' Home is looking for a highly motivated person with an analytical mindset to work in our Revenue Office. This office is responsible for determining residents' resources for reimbursement of care and the collection of maintenance fees. As a Facility Reimbursement Technician, work involves investigating the financial status of residents that are admitted to our long-term care facility.

DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this role, you will complete, assist, and verify accuracy of all new admission assessments of the monthly maintenance fees and ensure that all admission documents are compiled and completed accurately. Work includes overseeing and assisting in the collection of maintenance fees and aid and attendance payments, as well as ensuring accountability for reconciliation of payments for revenue transmittal through official receipts via maintenance fee worksheets and actual monetary collections. You will have the opportunity to respond to inquiries either by phone or written correspondence as they pertain to monthly charges, estate billing, and complaints.

Work Schedule and Additional Information :

• Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
• Work hours are first shift, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
