Responsibilities :
Hamilton Medical is looking for a Maintenance Repair Techician who will work under the supervision of the Maintenance / Facilities Manager. This is a broad role that serves all departments across the facility and will have duties and obligations of supporting various equipment in operations, facility maintenance and repairs, upgrades, and projects as required.
The hours for this position are 9 : 00am - 5 : 30pm.
Other responsibilities include :
- Complete repairs, adjustments, and preventive maintenance necessary to for proper operating condition of production and facility equipment
- Prioritize and perform preventive maintenance tasks as defined by CMMS software, and maintain timeliness of tasks due dates. Coordinate with production and planning teams to minimize work stoppage
- Apply and enforce all safety procedures and precautions necessary to prevent equipment, environment, and facility dangers to company personnel
- Maintain accurate, organized, and sufficient inventory of spare parts and items needed for maintenance and repair of equipment. Coordinate with purchasing as needed for keep optimal stocking level
- As needed, support janitorial staff with removal of operations recyclables and waste
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to creation new or updated preventive maintenance tasks to improve reliability of production equipment
- Responsible for achieving required machine up-time to meet production targets
- Excellent communicator with operations teams throughout the downtime recovery process, as well as creating post-downtime summaries
- Work cross-functionally with Production, Engineering, EHS, Operations personnel, and Leadership teams
- All other duties as assigned
