Job description
A company is looking for a Collections Representative who will resolve outstanding payer balances in accordance with regulatory and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve payer denials by understanding policies, contacting payers, and appealing claims
Participate in team huddles and meetings to share knowledge and recommend process improvements
Ensure timely resolution of assigned accounts to maximize reimbursement in compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma / GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
1+ years of accounts receivable experience in a healthcare setting
Experience working with denied healthcare claims and insurance companies
Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM EST
