Here's a summary of responsibilities :
The United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee’s Sports Medicine Research Lab is seeking a motivated individual to join our research team as a Research Assistant for a temporary basis. Under the supervision and direction of the Sports Medicine Research team, the Research Assistant will provide support in conducting research studies focused on injury and illness prevention, athlete performance, and sports science and medicine initiatives. The Research assistant will be expected to provide exceptional customer support to internal and external customers, ensuring optimal health and wellness for Team USA.
Here’s how you’ll have an impact :
- Assist in the execution of clinical research programs including injury and illness epidemiology, prevention programs, and sport science and medicine initiatives.
- Perform data collection, data entry, and management tasks using established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Support participant recruitment, enrollment, and follow-up activities.
- Conduct literature reviews to inform study designs and support research initiatives.
- Assist with the preparation of research materials, including consent forms, questionnaires, and other data collection tools.
- Contribute to the development of reports, presentations, and publications for internal and external dissemination.
- Assist in maintaining accurate records of research activities and ensure compliance with data protection and ethical research standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
