About the Role

The successful candidate will be expected to have a significant academic background, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a relevant setting, and hold an advanced degree such as a DVM, VMD, PhD, MD, or DO. A proven track record of scholarly achievement and a history of research publications are essential. The role also encompasses the management of a collaborative research program in veterinary medicine, mentoring junior faculty, and overseeing a team of research professionals. Applicants for the Associate Dean of Research position at the company should possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to teamwork, and the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners. Extensive experience in research and grant funding is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked with major funding bodies such as the NIH and USDA.
