The Research Scientist II will lead innovative scientific research and contribute to advanced methodologies in Honolulu, Hawaii. This role focuses on developing new research objectives, establishing priorities, and executing complex studies to advance mission-critical scientific initiatives.#LI-SF1What You Will Do : Develop and implement new research objectives, setting project priorities and methodologies. Conduct scientific studies, analyzing results to provide scientific conclusions and interpretations. Apply advanced research concepts, principles, and practices to enhance Technical Area Tasks. Innovate and refine scientific techniques, contributing to cutting-edge research advancements. Utilize expertise in one or more technical focus areas to drive impactful research efforts. Lead and direct scientific projects, ensuring alignment with mission goals and technical requirements. Collaborate with research teams, and subject matter experts to develop high-impact studies.What We're Looking For : 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience. Strong knowledge of industry research methodologies, scientific principles, and experimental techniques. Demonstrated ability to lead research initiatives and provide expert scientific analysis. Active DoD Secret Clearance required; must be eligible to obtain TS / SCI clearance.Preferred Requirements Expertise in mission-critical scientific research and technical focus areas.
