DUTIESANDRESPONSIBILITIES :

• Develop,modify,andupdatePLCprogrammingforeachassignment
• Readandinterprettechnicaldrawings,schematics,orcomputer-generatedreports.
• ManagetheprocessofengineeringreleasesincludingdrawingsandbillsofmaterialstomeetAsSold expectations.
• Developthenecessarydrawingsand / orschematicsutilizingANSI,ASEEandothernationallyrecognized standards.
• Preparecompletereleasepackagesthatmeetdeliverablesandcommitments.
• Reviewanyassignmentsgiventootherstocompleteforaccuracyand timeliness.
• Research,design,evaluate,orincorporateelectricalproducts,equipment,systems,orprocessestomeet requirements.
• Conferwithengineersorotherpersonneltoimplementoperatingprocedures,resolvesystemmalfunctions,or provide technical information.
• DevelopanddocumentSequenceofOperation(SOP),CycleTimeAnalysis(CTA),andotherdocumentsto ensure the designs meet the requirements.
• Develop,coordinate,ormonitorallaspectsofdesign,includingselectionofcomponents.
• Investigateequipmentfailuresordifficultiestodiagnosefaultyoperationandrecommendremedialactions.
• Developortestmodelsofalternatedesignsorprocessingmethodstoassessfeasibility,sustainability, operating condition effects, potential new applications, or necessity of modification.
• Respondtomanufacturingquestionsregardingreleasesandprojectsgoingthroughmanufacturing.
• Specifysystemcomponentsordirectmodificationofproductstoensureconformancewithengineering design, performance specifications, or environmental regulations.
• Recommenddesignmodificationstoeliminatemachineorsystemmalfunctions.
• Assistothersinthedepartmentindevelopingthedrawings,designs,sub-assemblies,andassemblies,using computer-assisted drafting equipment or software.
• Overseeinstallation,operation,maintenance,orrepairtoensurethatmachinesorequipmentareinstalled and functioning according to specifications.
• ParticipateinandleadallFAT’s(internalandcustomers).
• Providefeedbacktodesignengineersoncustomerproblemsorneeds.
• Researchandanalyzecustomerdesignproposals,specifications,manuals,orotherdatatoevaluatethe feasibility, cost, or maintenance requirements of designs or applications.
• Estimatecosts(materials,engineeringhours,etc.)tosubmittoSalesandApplicationswhenrequested.
• Recommendtheuseofutilityorenergyservicesthatminimizecarbonfootprints.
• Evaluatemechanicaldesignsorprototypesforenergyperformanceorenvironmentalimpact.
• Writeperformancerequirementsforproductdevelopmentorengineeringprojects.
• Travelasnecessarytocustomersites.
• Providetechnicalservicetoexistingandfuturecustomers.
• Performcloseoutreviewofallshippedprojectsandensureasbuiltdrawingsanddocumentations are updated.
• Helpevaluatepotentialprojectstoensurewelowertheriskandincreasethepotentialforsuccess.
• Performanyothertaskorassignments asdesignatedbythepresident.
