Summary of Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you’ll oversee all aspects of our residential remodeling projects — from scheduling and budgeting to problem-solving and client communication. You’ll work closely with field carpenters, trade partners, and homeowners to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Essential Functions

Client Communication & Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear, professional communication.
Conduct weekly on-site meetings to provide updates, address concerns, and document progress in BuilderTrend.
Deliver daily project updates, including photos and reports, through project management software.

Team & Site Leadership

Supervise and coordinate the work of carpenters, subcontractors, and trade partners to ensure high-quality results.

Conduct daily site visits to monitor progress, solve on-site challenges, and ensure adherence to schedules.

Oversee site inspections, ensuring compliance and resolving any inspector concerns.

Project Planning & Execution

Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively adjusting for challenges.

Manage material orders, subcontractor scheduling, and site preparations to keep projects moving efficiently.

Ensure all tools, equipment, and safety protocols are in place before work begins.

Administrative & Financial Oversight

Utilize BuilderTrend and Outlook to manage project timelines, budgets, and communication.

Track project profitability and report progress to the executive team.

Approve and manage invoices, progress payments, and final payments from clients.

Education, Experience, and Skills Required

7-10 years of hands-on experience in residential construction , with expertise in carpentry.

3+ years of leadership experience in residential remodeling or construction .

Strong ability to lead teams, solve problems, and keep projects on track .

Proficiency in project management tools (BuilderTrend, Outlook, MS Office a plus).

OSHA Certification (or willingness to obtain) is a plus.

Passion for continuous learning and staying ahead in the remodeling industry .
