ICMS is looking for a full-time state experienced Electrician who will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of all building equipment and systems. In tandem with the Chief Engineer, the candidate will be responsible for assigning work and scheduling staff. In-depth knowledge of emergency power systems and data center layouts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES :
- Direct, coordinate and exercise functional responsibility for planning, organizing and controlling the integration and completion of building systems through those they are responsible for
- Monitor and supervise the ongoing work by third party contractors and in-house personnel to ensure optimal performance
- Work with the Chief Engineer or Project Manager in overseeing the complete operations of the building
- Operate and maintain the central plant areas and any energy management system
- Maintain building support, safety, and security of equipment by hosting regular meetings with staff
- Respond to customer requests in a helpful and consultative manner
- Establish and maintain inventories of tools, supplies, and equipment necessary for daily maintenance
- Engage discusses and comes up with solutions to tenant / customer challenges
- Responsible for assisting the Operator with daily operations procedures in the central plant
- Assist in maintaining and repairing all machinery as assigned
- Responsible for assisting the Operators with maintaining all safety equipment at the central plant
- Perform preventive maintenance work orders
- Responsible for making after-hours rounds and mechanical equipment room to assess the functionality of the equipment and work that has been completed
- Assist the Operators in maintaining the clean and safe appearance of the central plant and all machinery contained within it
- Responsible for after-hours emergencies of HVAC, fire alarm, electrical and plumbing issues that may arise in the building
- Work on minor construction project
- Prepare incident summaries on emergencies
- Comply with all applicable Company policies regarding health, safety, and environmental compliance and information protection.
