Position is located in a manufacturing plant that runs 24 / 7, the HR Manager oversees all aspects of human resources including staffing, training, employee development, and to some degree, compensation and benefits. The HR Manager maintains a human resources system in each of these areas, and leads continuous improvement efforts, and works collaboratively with employees and managers at all levels. The HR Manager stays informed of requirements and the actions of the company to be sure the company complies with OSHA and labor laws.
The ultimate goal of the HR Manager is to create a well functioning system around employees and managers that drives excellent performance and high levels of job satisfaction, that allows the creative energy and hard work of employees to propel the company’s performance forward. The HR Manager needs to demonstrate a solid work ethic through diligent effort, availability, involvement, good decision-making, and strong relationships with employees and the community.
As a member of the Plant Manager’s Staff,the HR Manager completes other duties as requested by managers within the plant, assigned by the Plant Manager, corporate office, and works with staff and supervisors to meet their HR needs.
