Fabrication Manager

Were seeking a Fabrication Manager to lead and oversee all fabrication operations ensuring production goals are met safely, efficiently, and with the highest quality standards. This role plays a key part in optimizing manufacturing processes, mentoring team members, and driving continuous improvement across safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

As the Fabrication Manager, youll serve as a vital link between Production, Engineering, Quality, and Maintenance, ensuring seamless collaboration and execution on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee daily fabrication activities, including scheduling, resource planning, and workflow coordination.
• Lead, train, and develop team members to achieve performance, safety, and quality goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies, quality standards, and all applicable regulations.
• Supervise fabrication of components in accordance with engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Monitor and improve key metrics including efficiency, yield, scrap, and downtime.
• Partner with Engineering and Quality to resolve design and process challenges.
• Maintain equipment, tools, and work areas to meet 5S and readiness standards.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Conduct root cause analyses and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance throughput and reduce costs.
• Manage departmental budgets, labor costs, and material usage.
• Support new product introductions through process development and manufacturability assessments.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
• Set and track departmental goals aligned with company objectives.
• Identify cost reduction and efficiency improvement opportunities.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA safety standards, PPE requirements, and ISO regulations.
• Approve and manage employee timekeeping and attendance records.
