About Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital
In response to the health care needs of a growing community, in 1977, Corewell opened a new 189-bed hospital on rural farmland in Troy. Today, Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital has grown to 530 licensed beds and offers a comprehensive array of health care services, continuing to develop to meet the needs of the growing communities it serves.
Scope of Job
Under minimal direction, the Registered Respiratory Therapist : implements and evaluates diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory services to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of patients with cardiopulmonary and related disorders; participates in the education of patients, students, staff and physicians; provides technical support for all equipment related to the practice of Respiratory Care; assists with general department functions.
Qualifications
Required Associate's Degree Respiratory Therapy
Eligible for position after attainment of RRT NBRC status. Required
LIC-Respiratory Therapist - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
CRT-Respiratory Therapist Registry - NBRC National Board for Respiratory Care Upon Hire required
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required Or
CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required
