We are seeking Restoration Technicians for our Jacksonville, Florida location. The Restoration Technician is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency service jobs to perform advanced techniques for water and fire mitigation as well as repair areas damaged by mold, water or fire. Responsibilities include maintaining a fully stocked and prepared company vehicle to drive to work sites, cleaning and drying up work areas, preparing work areas and equipment, and performing minor repairs per the scope of work on time and within budget.

What You Will Do :

The Restoration Technician will perform the following duties along with any additional duties as assigned by management per business needs.

• Perform emergency board up, water extraction, and fire mitigation services efficiently and safely
• Prepare rooms / areas for work activities to include setting up staging areas and equipment
• Assist with demolition and general clean up
• Complete minor construction repairs (framing, drywall, paint, etc.)
• Maintain clean and organized work areas to include securely storing equipment and supplies while not in use
• Interface with customers and relay information to Project Manager and Superintendent when appropriate
• Complete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates into database as needed
• Complete punch list items with attention to detail
• Maintain equipment in clean and working condition
• Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked at all times and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items
• Monitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicle
• Participate in an on-call schedule for after-hours service calls.
