The Administrative Assistant supports the buying team in executing the seasonal buying strategy to achieve sales and gross margin goals. Responsibilities include gathering data, maintaining reporting, and preparing documents to support various merchants and buyers.

• Responsibilities
• Provide accurate data to enable teams to analyze current business trends and take necessary action.
• Support senior buyers with seasonal buys from planning through execution by preparing documentation, collecting and analyzing data, and creating visual documentation.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather key information and execute merchandising decisions.
• Create product catalogs to support seasonal strategy for leadership product reviews and retail stores.
• Upload orders and reconcile seasonal buys.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Essential Skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLookups and XLookups.
• Solid understanding of the retail industry and specific metrics used.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent presentation skills.
• 2 to 3 years of buying or assistant buying experience is helpful; however, current college graduates with a merchandising background and strong Excel skills are also welcome.
• Additional Skills & Qualifications
• Experience with Adobe Illustrator is preferred.
• Retail math experience is helpful.
• Experience in supporting multiple buyers is advantageous.
• Familiarity with CAD, ERP, SAP, and vendor management is beneficial.

• Work Environment

The work environment is in-office from Monday to Thursday. The role is supportive, inclusive, and requires a team player mindset. The position heavily involves the use of Excel, and you will be required to pull various types of reports and communicate effectively with the team.

• Pay and Benefits
• The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00 / hr.
