Soliant is seeking a Pharmacist for a 13-week contract-to-hire opportunity in Fort Lauderdale, Florida . This is a full-time position offering competitive weekly pay and full-time benefits such as medical, dental, vision, etc. Candidates who perform well during the assignment will be considered for permanent hire.

Assignment Details

Start : ASAP

Duration : 13 weeks (Contract to Hire)

Schedule :

MondayFriday : 10 : 30 a.m. 7 : 30 p.m.

Weekend Rotation : 2 : 00 p.m. 11 : 00 p.m.

Setting : Long-term care / Non-retail pharmacy environment

Requirements

Active Florida Pharmacist License in hand

Retail pharmacists welcometraining available

Strong communication, accuracy, and workflow management skills

Responsibilities

Accept, verify, and dispense prescription medications

Monitor patient medication compliance and identify over-usage patterns

Ensure all medications are handled and dispensed in accordance with state and federal law

Maintain accurate and confidential patient records and pharmacy files

Counsel patients on medication usage, side effects, storage, and interactions

Provide clinical services such as smoking cessation counseling, BP checks, and medication education

Educate patients on using medical devices (e.g., glucose meters, BP monitors)

Compound medications and prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures

Supervise and support pharmacy staff, including technicians and clerks

Maintain appropriate pharmaceutical and medical supply inventory

Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, pharmacy interns, and other healthcare professionals

Identify and resolve drug-related issues to support safe, effective patient care
