Job Title : Utilities Supervisor
Job Summary We are seeking an experienced and proactive Utilities Systems Supervisor to oversee the safe and efficient operation of our facility's utility systems. This role involves supervising a team responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of high-pressure steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration, well water, potable water, hot water, HVAC systems, fire suppression systems, and air compressors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial systems, excellent troubleshooting skills, a proactive approach to safety and compliance, and a commitment to operational efficiency and team leadership.
Core Responsibilities
- Supervise the operation, maintenance, and repair of high-pressure steam boilers, ammonia refrigeration systems, HVAC systems, pneumatic systems, and other utility systems.
- Lead a team of operators and technicians by providing direction, support, training, and performance feedback.
- Conduct daily rounds, equipment inspections, and monitor system readings to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
- Implement and assign preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance and reduce downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Maintain accurate records of system performance, maintenance schedules, and repairs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address system needs and improvements.
- Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the team.
