Job description

Peregrine Team is seeking a Revenue Cycle Executive for a leading healthcare organization in Orange County, CA (remote / hybrid options). This full-time position requires extensive experience in Epic system operations and a strong background in ambulatory revenue cycle management .

About the Role

The Executive of Revenue Cycle will be responsible for overseeing Epic revenue cycle operations , optimizing billing and collections , and implementing strategies to maximize reimbursement and cash flow . The role requires a leader with a proven track record in revenue cycle performance, compliance, and operational improvements .

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee Epic revenue cycle operations , ensuring efficiency and compliance
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize reimbursement and increase cash flow
  • Lead billing, collections, and denial management initiatives
  • Optimize Epic system functionality to enhance revenue cycle performance
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare, Medi-Cal, and third-party payer regulations
  • Analyze revenue cycle data to identify areas for improvement
  • Enhance patient financial services and overall revenue cycle performance
  • Manage and mentor revenue cycle staff to improve team efficiency

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
  • 6+ years of experience in revenue cycle and / or billing operations
  • Strong knowledge of Epic revenue cycle management
  • Familiarity with Medi-Cal, Medicare, and state / federal payer programs
  • Proven ability to lead, develop talent, and drive operational improvements
