Job description

We are looking for a Financial Management Analyst to join our team to support the United States Marine Corps (USMC) in Washington, DC.

Your day-to-day work will include :

  • Manage funds and processes for the U.S. Marine Corps Staff.
  • Working with Funds Administrators as a POC to engage in training, obligations, and PPBE. corrections, system process error corrections, and requisitioning.
  • Correct errors in commitments, obligations, and expenses and complete the financial processes for additional requirements.
  • Assist with completing FY closeout and executing plans to correct unliquidated obligations, outstanding commitments, and other errors in the procurement process.
  • Monitor obligations and expenditure of funds within the approved budget.
  • Conduct mid-year reviews and provide recommendations regarding the distribution of resources.
  • Run and analyze financial system reports.
  • Review, identify, and correct commitment documents.
  • Provide recommendations for the cost and benefits of the organization's programs and operations.
  • Other tasks as assigned.

At a minimum you should have :

  • An active SECRET security clearance and the ability to maintain.
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • Experience providing financial management support within a DoD organization and experience working with and reporting to DoD government leadership.
  • Experience and knowledge of defense budget and reporting systems.
  • Knowledge, understanding of, and experience with the DoD budgeting process, including PPBE.
  • All employees may be called upon to provide their knowledge and / or expertise to proposal efforts including contract re-competes.

    Estimated Salary Range : $110,000-$130,000

    The provided salary range serves as a broad reference. However, Intrepid takes various factors into account when establishing base salary offers, including the position's scope and responsibilities, as well as the candidate's experience, education, skills, and prevailing market conditions.
