Maternal Nurse Reviewer / Contract - Metropolitan Area (#25009)

Minimum of 4 years clinical practice experience in a facility or community-based setting

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Maternal Nurse Reviewer to fill an opening with a Non-profit organization located in New York

Requirements of the Maternal Nurse Reviewer :

• Must be qualified and actively credentialed / registered in New York State (e.g. Registered Professional Nurse, Pediatric / Family Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, etc.).
• Must have at least 4 years of clinical practice experience in a facility or community-based setting including medical, surgical, and / or obstetrical experience. Experience in pediatric / adolescent / reproductive health care is preferred.
• At least 2 years of acute care hospital experience is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience reviewing charts for the purpose of quality improvement or utilization review is preferred.
• Knowledgeable of current disease / care management / coordination trends is preferred
• Must have the ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, and to prioritize reviews and projects to be completed.
• Must have strong analytical and communication skills (both written and verbal) and Ability to gather and analyze information from records, reports, and other sources.
• Must be proficient in the use of standard office technology and basic Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, and Teams.
• Must have the ability to travel to on-site review assignments within the metropolitan area (including Westchester and Long Island). Approximately 25 on-site days per year.
