This ADP RF Engineer will possess and / or be trained to be an overall expert gaining extensive technical knowledge of RF, RADARs and EW systems / sensor performance. The team’s foundational vision focuses on design, development, integration and operation of RF hardware / software controlled instrumentation systems for purposes of characteristic assessment of major weapon systems during field trials.
As an integral member of the technical team, the candidate will be responsible for understanding complex threat systems and executing threat system testing operations at home base (Fort Worth, TX) and in the field. Experience in one or more specialty disciplines to include FPGA architecture, DSP and C# / C++ instrument control programming would enhance the candidate’s / team’s probability of success. Basic knowledge of network systems configuration is helpful; familiarity with Ethernet network protocols and directing network systems installation. The candidate will be required to operate test and measurement instruments. Identify unique test and measurement problems that require technical, procedural, or quality assurance actions to resolve. Must be able to work with and interact with the Customer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) as well as Sr. Program Engineers and positively contribute to a small, agile, cohesive team.
The selected candidate must be able to work and communicate well, both orally and written, in a team environment as this position involves significant and continued interface with Customer personnel at all levels. Manage and simultaneously track multiple engineering and logistics support activities, providing periodic status to Customer and Program Management
Candidates must be willing to travel and work periodically at austere remote locations to support Customer requirements. Must accept customer furnished quarters and comply with mobility requirements such as receive applicable vaccinations.
Candidate must be able to obtain security clearance for consideration.
A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.
