Job descriptionProven experience as welder In-Depth knowledge and understanding of TIG Welding Process. Knowledge of Copper and Stainless-Steel material properties. Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings Deftness and attention to detail Proficient in English, being bilingual will be a plus Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves Ability to maintain an open line of communication with coworker’s management team Professional Certification (. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus. Fluidra’s looking for a Lead Welderto join our team at our Bobe Plant in Phoenix, AZ.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
- Set up components for welding according to specifications
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
- Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
- Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
- Maintain work area and equipment in a condition that does not compromise 5S initiative and safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
