We are seeking candidates for entry-level Frame Welder roles on the 1st shift. Compensation for these contract opportunities ranges between $18.00-$20.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience. What you will do as an Entry-level Frame Welder :
- Perform routine and repetitive MIG arc welding operations
- Operate welding equipment, adjusting current, voltage, gas, and feed rate for proper metal fusion
- Plan and layout welding sequence based on drawings, blueprints, or specifications
- Layout and mark weld points on parts or assemblies using tools like rules, squares, scribes, or templates
- Ensure proper clamping of parts in alignment with specifications or drawings
- Position and secure pieces to be welded using jigs, guides, and measuring instruments
- Apply custom fabrication skills for moderately complex orders after a training period
- Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to documented safety guidelines
- Support the company’s quality and customer service strategy in the commercial door and hardware industry
