The Opportunity
Ulteig is seeking talented and motivated candidates for a Right of Way Intern based in our Denver, CO office to work this upcoming 2025 summer season.
What You'll Do
The Right of Way Intern is responsible for performing fundamental duties under the direction of others, including routine acquisition of land rights, permits, leases and other interests assigned by supervisor.
- Evaluates documents, plans, plats, and maps to obtain right of way details and ownership information.
- Assists in acquiring easements, options, and other forms of land rights in property.
- Attends landowner meetings with supervisor for acquisition / negotiation activities.
- Assists with negotiations with landowners, businesses, and governmental agencies for land rights.
- Prepare documents associated with land rights including but not limited to easements, options, permits, minor land descriptions, communication, records, databases, and project status reports.
- Creates and maintains accurate field notes, reports, and databases.
- Assist in preparing estimated property market values.
- Research projects from a variety of sources.
- Provides excellent client service.
- Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.

Additional Opportunity Details :
Target Base Compensation for this role is $25.00 / hr
This position will be posted for a minimum of 3 days and will continue to be posted for an average of 60 days until a qualified applicant is selected or the position has been cancelled.
