Job Details
The Director, Account Management leads a team that provides operational support to large IDN Health Systems customers. This role takes a proactive approach to managing customer relationships, analyzing operational metrics, and ensuring contract renewals are effectively supported. The Director of Account Management is responsible for understanding the operational needs of large health systems and how Cencora delivers value in this space.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Leads and develops a team of account managers to deliver exceptional operational support to large IDN Health Systems customers.
- Drives the proactive identification and resolution of operational challenges to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Monitors and analyzes reports and data which are used consistently throughout Cencora for measuringoperational performance and customer satisfaction,and develops and implements / shifts strategies and removes barriers to ensure continued success of that profitability.
- Collaborates with internal teams to support contract renewals and ensure alignment with customer needs.
- Successfully develops relationships and works collaboratively with internal Cencora subject matter experts, as needed, toenhance operational support and optimize customer outcomes.
- Provides insights and recommendations based on operational metrics to drive continuous improvement and enhance the customer experience.
- Must be willing to travel as needed to business events such as customer meetings, industry & trade conferences, and national meetings.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements :
Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of work experience. Normally requires a minimum of eight (8) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
