We are looking for RN Case Managers to join our exemplary interdisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care to all we serve; while practicing fiscal responsibility in these fluid economic times. - Unrestricted, active RN license in the state of New Jersey
- BS in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- Ability to work alternate Saturdays.
- 2 years nursing in an acute care / hospital setting.
- 2 years Case Management / Utilization Review in a hospital, post-acute or insurance / third party payer setting.
- Familiarity and computer literacy with EMRs & CM / UR software.
- Working knowledge and experience with MCG / Indicia, Interqual, or other nationally recognized CM / UR criteria.
- Working knowledge of CMS guidelines and regulations governing discharge planning and utilization management.
- Experience in care coordination, hospital throughput, LOS / Readmission reduction, discharge planning, & transitions of care a must.
- Experience in working with Appeals / Denials highly preferred.
- Case Management Certification preferred.
- Experience in Worker’s Comp a plus.
