Job Summary and Qualifications

As a member of the Cardiac Cath Lab team, ensures optimal patient care and safety at all times. Uses appropriate knowledge and skills to monitor, assess, and provide nursing intervention to patients prior to and after invasive cardiac procedures

What qualifications you will need :

AA Degree (Minimum)

California RN License.

ACLS certification

BCLS certification

Cardiac Cath Lab experience strongly preferred

1 yr. CCL experience or 2 yrs. Adult Critical Care experience (not to include PCU, Step Down or PACU)

Must be able to work independently as well as in a precision team.

Must be able to quickly adapt knowledge and skills to new situations.

Strong Hemodynamic background Groin management experience

IABP certified preferred (Certification within 6 months of hire)

NIH Scale (Certified within 6 months of hire)

Impella Training (within 6 months of hire)

Successful completion of cardiac dysrhythmia course or possess equivalent experience
