We are currently seeking a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our Co-ed Unit on the day shift. In this role, you will support the safety, structure, and therapeutic environment of our patients by working closely with the multidisciplinary team.
Job Duties
- Performs safety checks daily and as needed per guidelines
- Knows location and condition of all patients at all times
- Ensure proper hand off of clinical information
- Assists in management of behavior and control of destructive/unsafe behavior per facility guidelines
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
Requirements:
- Education – High School diploma or GED required. Some college preferred.
- Years of experience needed – No experience required. Direct patient care experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
- Certifications – Must maintain current CPR certification.
- Computer skills – Ability to: gain training through web-based programs; participate in employee surveys; enroll in company benefits.
- Communication – Must possess excellent verbal skills in communicating with patients, coworkers and visitors.
- Teamwork – Must be able to actively participate in a treatment team environment.
- Service Excellence – Consistently demonstrates all Service Excellence Standards.
