RN Nurse Supervisor

Opening : Days 7 : 00AM - 3 : 30PM with rotating weekends and holidays

Status : Full-Time or Part-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

Hales Corners Care Center's mission is people. Our responsibility is to provide housing, physical care, but more importantly, to provide residents a way of life which is positive; to provide them with love and leadership to help aid in the understanding of aging phase of life. We are a 24 hours skilled nursing facility dedicated to providing quality care to our residents with 62 bed rooms which includes 44 private rooms. Our services include 24 hours nursing care, Medicare certified beds, physical, occupational, and speech therapy and so much more.

Summary Description : The primary function of the Nurse Supervisor position is implementing and supervising of resident care. The supervisor assigns and delegates responsibilities to nursing personnel for the direct nursing care of specific residents, based on the qualification of the staff and needs of the residents. The Nurse Supervisor ensures each resident receives treatment, medications and diet as prescribed. In addition, ensuring personal and rehabilitative care as needed, in accordance with federal and state regulations and facility policies and procedures. The supervisor assures prompt, appropriate action in cases of injury, illness, fire or other emergencies.

Qualifications : In order to be considered for the position you must meet the minimum qualifications listed below.

Education :

Must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing as Registered Nurse

Experience :

Previous long-term care experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities.

o Demonstrates knowledge of and ability to apply basic principles of nursing care.

o Demonstrates evidence of interest in continuous professional growth.

o Demonstrates leadership ability and capable of working effectively with all levels of personnel.

o Demonstrates interest and positive attitude about working with long-term care residents and the elderly.

1 year of experience is required.

Specific Requirements :

Must have a current active state licensure from the WI Board of Nursing or current home state license if considered multi-state / compact state. Active state licensure dependent on state associate works in.

Must be CPR certified.
