Job Summary / Company :
Sparks group has partnered with a nonprofit organization in the Charlotte Metropolitan area. This is a mission-driven organization with the goal of providing immediate relief to communities affected by natural disasters. Our client is seeking a Disaster Assistance Processor to support a large seasonal project starting in June and lasting several months. Responsibilities :
Deliver services in support of disaster relief, including providing immediate turnaround of applications, processing checks, facilitating grant distributions, and conducting additional due diligence
Review grant requests, collect, organize, and analyze information from grant applications to verify requests
Exercise independent and collective reasoning when evaluating grant requests and approve grant awards
Escalate cases consistently with the fund policy grant review and approval guidelines
Identify opportunities, issues, and trends within the program and notify team members
Qualifications / Background Profile :
Associate’s degree
Quality assurance experience
Experience in case management, order entry, grants administration, or related work preferred
Strong MS Outlook skills
