Safety coordinator Jobs in Cary, NC

Join our Snacks plant in Cary, NC as a Safety Coordinator, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees. As a member of our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team you will be vital to creating and maintaining culture of safety. This position is a Monday through Friday position, working overnight from 10 : 30pm to 6 : 30am with a pay rate of $26.02 per hour.

A Taste of What Youll Be Doing

• Teamwork - Attend and actively participate in shift meetings focused on the entire facility and running your own safety focused meetings.
• Creating and maintaining Safety Material - Assist with the creation of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety training materials. Order and stock Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed.
• Daily Safety Reviews - Conduct daily reviews of EHS performance along with inspections of specific machines.
• Audits and investigations - Conduct safety audits and inspections, maintaining accurate records, and maintaining readiness for emergency responses.
