Required Skills :
7+ years of safety experience, including 3+ years of direct supervisory experience.

Broad and detailed knowledge of regulatory, training, inspection, and auditing processes.
Experience in the construction or manufacturing industry is required.
Basic knowledge of compliance relating to DOT, MSHA, and other federal regulations is preferred.
Strong time management, organizational, and priority management skills.
Ability to professionally manage a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills, capable of presenting information to senior leaders and customers.

Key Responsibilities :
Promote a positive and proactive safety culture through behaviors and actions.
Review and update written safety programs, conduct audits, and investigate accidents.
Track incident metrics and trends, applying findings to improve safety practices.
Manage worker’s compensation incidents confidentially, meeting the needs of both employees and the company.
Communicate and collaborate with business partners, regulatory agencies, and employees regarding safety requirements and opportunities.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards.
Communicate issues, trends, regulatory updates, and training materials to employees, leadership, and direct reports.
Responsible for the development and performance management of direct reports.
