Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire a Safety Coordinator for our Lexington, KY location. Competitive pay based on experience, strong benefits and a company profit sharing plan!The responsibilities of the Safety Coordinator include : conducting safety operation training, safety training programs and updating and maintaining training programs to improve the safety of telecommunications, natural gas distribution, and electrical distribution operations. This position also includes conducting routine safety visits to enforce safety policies, while identifying specific job hazards and precautions at various job site locations. Travel as needed between the Lexington and Louisville :
- Oversee / coordinate and monitor Safety Supplies Inventory
- Conduct / coordinate classroom and field training meetings as needed.
- Maintain condition and operational integrity of Emergency Response equipment.
- Conduct Routine Job Site Safety Visits
- Investigates report-able accidents, injuries and job damages
- Create and Present on monthly safety topics.
- Serve as member of Incident Investigation committees on "as needed" basis.

Preferred Skills :
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
