Technical Sales Administrator
The Technical Sales Administrator will support both industry-specific and regional sales teams. This individual will act as a central liaison between sales and internal departments to coordinate bid proposals, manage large-scale customer programs, and support inventory and pricing strategies.
The role requires a detail-oriented professional with strong technical knowledge of flow control products, capable of working cross-functionally with sales, operations, project management, and finance teams.
Technical Sales Administrator
Communicates directly with buyers and key customer contacts regarding pricing, delivery schedules, expedite requests, documentation, and general support needs.
Coordinates with industry managers, sales teams, and regional managers to prepare and approve bid proposals.
Inputs, maintains, and optimizes project quotation data within ERP / CRM systems (e.g., D365).
Collaborates with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless execution of sales deliverables.
Partners with department heads to develop strategies for addressing high-value customer inquiries.
Assists in the organization and analysis of pricing structures to maintain consistency and competitiveness.
Identifies pricing trends, benchmarks, and cost structures with internal teams.
Audits and maintains rebate programs and supplier agreements in partnership with the industry manager.
Technical Sales Administrator
High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Strong knowledge of flow control products and technical attributes preferred.
Proficient in Excel and experienced with CRM or ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate across functional areas.
