Our Strategy and Planning team, part of our broader Sales Operations team, strives to help our Sales organization scale and grow faster. This function will act as a key business partner to the Commercial Growth sales leadership team. You will have an opportunity to embed yourself as the "COO" of that business, and your responsibilities will range across a variety of strategic initiatives including piloting and scaling up new projects, analyzing data to come up with meaningful business insights, and optimizing processes.

We are looking for a senior analyst to help us build out this global function over time and drive forward initiatives that will help us unlock sales revenue. The ideal candidate has a strong interest in data analysis to tell stories and thrives in shaping narratives that are conducive to helping our teams grow.

The Opportunity

As a Senior Analyst, Sales Strategy & Planning, you will :

• Help drive the analytical rhythm of our business including monthly and quarterly business reviews, forecasting, org deep dives
• Partner with Sales leadership to drive market + segment specific analyses to uncover insights and emerging trends
• Efficiently pull data and derive insights based on a business problem posed
• Become an expert in understanding Sales KPIs and implications on performance tracking, compensation and forecasting
• Participate in quarterly and annual business planning for the Sales team including headcount planning, forecasting, territory management, and segmentation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various business units to drive productivity and operational efficiency

MongoDB's base salary range for this role is posted below. Compensation at the time of offer is unique to each candidate and based on a variety of factors such as skill set, experience, qualifications, and work location. Salary is one part of MongoDB's total compensation and benefits package. Other benefits for eligible employees may include : equity, participation in the employee stock purchase program, flexible paid time off, 20 weeks fully-paid gender-neutral parental leave, fertility and adoption assistance, 401(k) plan, mental health counseling, access to transgender-inclusive health insurance coverage, and health benefits offerings.
