In this role, you'll support institutional and cross-function initiatives to drive compensation strategy as well as oversee compensation consulting and analysis services to the organization including the development and implementation of St. Jude compensation programs, reward strategies, competitive market analysis, equity programs, and related HR programs and projects. You support the development of new compensation programs and help identify and develop improvements to existing compensation programs while providing support within the HR department ensuring all processes are efficient, highly automated, and proactive.
Job Responsibilities
Excel Proficiency : Utilize Excel daily, including basic functions such as formula development, pivot table creation, VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP, conditional formulas, ASAP utilities, data visualization, filtering, and data merging. Employ advanced functions like nested IF statements, data modeling andinterpretation, macros, and dashboard creation.
Job Evaluation and Market Pricing : Leverage expertise fromJDXPERTandCompAnalystfor job evaluations and market pricing analysis.
Presentation Development : Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations tailored for various audiences, including executive teams, management, and employees.
Workday Utilization : Efficiently use Workday for job profile creation and updates, reporting, and other HR tasks.
Job Architecture : Develop and maintain job architecture frameworksand career pathswithin the organization.
Job Offer Review : Conduct comprehensive reviews of job offers to ensure alignment with organizational standards and market competitiveness.
Merit Process : Supportthe merit increase process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Salary Grade Structure Management : Review and adjust salary grade structures to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.
Job Description Management : Develop and manage job descriptions to accurately reflect roles and responsibilities within the organization.
Minimum Education :
Bachelor's degree required.
Compensation Analyst II
Minimum Experience :
Minimum Requirement : 2+ years of experience handling compensation activities, HR, finance, or related data analytics roles.
Some experience / working knowledge of principles and practices of compensation systems and programs.
Experience performing complex reporting and analyses.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) including Google Sheets Slides, preferred.
Proven performance in earlier roles.
Compensation Analyst I
Minimum Experience :
Minimum Requirement : Some HR or related experience.
Compensation support experience preferred.
Some experience performing reporting and analysis preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) including Google Sheets Slides, preferred.
Compensation
In recognition of certain U.S. state and municipal pay transparency laws, St. Jude is including a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This is an estimate offered in good faith and a specific salary offer takes into account factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the salary range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $65,520 - $114,400 per year for the role of Compensation Analyst II / Compensation Analyst.
